Yearbook Sessions Preserve the First Year of Your Child’s Life
I know, that’s a loaded, overused phrase. Let me explain…
That first year with your baby can consist of days that seem to never end, a sleep exhaustion so thick you could never have imagined, and a huge adjustment to your life. Simultaneously, there is a level of joy that makes your heart burst open, new ways of seeing the world as your baby experiences new things, and a shift in your priorities. That first year unexpectedly goes by quickly. Your life is a beautiful, messy blur at times. One moment you’re trying to get your baby’s arms into a tiny onesie and the next you’re child-locking every cabinet door in your kitchen because he has figured out how to open them.
Motherhood is something that I felt prepared for, and yet no one could have ever prepared me for what it actually consists of. It is my greatest joy and largest struggle all rolled into one. There are moments filled with pride and those where my patience has given out.
But I know looking back upon that year, that most of it was a happy blur and I am eternally grateful for the photographs I have to help remind me of all the beauty that was there.
It’s why I created the Yearbook Package for parents- to ensure that you are in the frame too (super duper important!!!) and to preserve those incredible changes your child is making.
And for those families that have older siblings, I photograph them too ;) Having a child enter your world is about more than just that child; it’s about the evolution of your family unit.
The Yearbook Package consists of three sessions over the course of a year.
Each family designs their own set up-
newborn, 6 month, one year
Fresh 48, in-home newborn, one year
4 month, 8 month, 1 year (for those families who decided later on to book a session OR prefer to have a posed newborn session instead of an in-home lifestyle session)
Some families book the three sessions and then like to tack on a mini maternity session as well.
The Yearbook Package also gives you access to booking a Short & Sweet Session anytime for any location- these are great when you want to have a grandparent session or an add-on session during that year.
