I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS YOUR CHILD
One of my favorite things about taking photographs of children is that they wear their emotions front and center. The slightest change in thought or reaction radiates from the arch of their eye brows to the smirk in their smile.
As a parent, I want to remember each of these expressions as my child gets older. I don’t want the fake “cheese” smile. I want their belly laugh expression; their contemplative assessment of what is happening; their serious stare that bores through your soul.
You will receive one vertical standard school portrait in each gallery, along with 2-5 personality portraits of your children to choose from. Portraits will be presented in color and black/white.
The vertical portrait will be used in the yearbook.

What Should We Expect?
I want to capture your child's personality in all it's glory. I will likely play games, talk/sing to them, and make funny noises to engage with them. I will never ask them to say "cheese" because I want to get their true smiles. I go with the flow of the child and their mood.
Your child’s album will include one vertical standard yearbook photo and 2-5 personality portraits.
What should my child wear?
Your child will be wearing their uniform.
Grades PreK-6th boys:
white button up shirt
navy pants
black shoes
Grades PreK to 6th girls:
white button up shirt
navy skirt or jumper
navy socks
black shoes
RCA headband/tie (optional, needs to be navy base color, plaid design ok)
Grades 7-12 boys:
White button up shirt
Khaki pants
Navy Blazer
Tie/cross
Black shoes
Grades 7-12 girls:
White button up
Navy blazer
Plaid skirt
tie/cross
black shoes
I can edit small scratches or marks if you choose to purchase retouching, but I do not edit out band-aids, nail polish colors, or fake tattoos.
How will you order?
Pictures will be ready on 11/11/24. You will be e-mailed the link to a class proofing gallery. There will be 2-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black and white. I do not choose which photos you print; you do. You will be able to order prints, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for ten (10) days. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN THAT TEN DAY PERIOD.
Prints will be delivered to your home instead of picked up at the school.

I’m so stoked to be photographing your beautiful children this fall! I have been providing school portraits for seven years and been a photographer for eleven. I have two little ones of my own- an 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl.
